Weeknotes #54: Navigating Change? Looking for a Coach?
Sharing new availability for 1-2-1 coaching this Spring - Reduced Rates
You are reading Coaching Weeknotes by Roxana Bacian: explorations at the intersection of inner-growth, leadership coaching and organisational development. These weeknotes are multiply authored, arrived at in conversation with many:
Are you looking for a coach to support you with navigating an upcoming transition whether in your career, team or organisation? I have new availability for 1-2-1 coaching work, at a reduced rate.
About me:
I’m an ICF-Accredited Coach with 5 years of experience and 320hrs of 1-2-1 and team coaching supporting career changes, leadership and organisational development with clients in the non-profit, public and private sectors; across the UK, Europe and Australia.
Reduced Rates - Spring 2025:
My usual rates range between £75/hr (paid by individual) and £100/hr (paid by organisation). I’m currently offering 5 individuals x a 6hr coaching programme at a reduced rate of £300 (£50/hr). Sessions will take place at a mutually agreed pace, generally every 2-4 weeks.
Professional Background:
I came to coaching as a second career, following a 7-year career in user-centred design. I bring expertise and knowledge of brand design and change management from working as a lead service and graphic designer for design studios such as Snook (now NEC Digital), and FutureGov (now TPXImpact).
Coaching Approach and Methodology:
The type of coaching I offer is relational and process-focused. Relational coaching places the relationship at the centre of the work focusing on building trust and partnership as a foundation for goal-setting and momentum. A process-based approach looks at working towards future goals whilst also prioritising what is most present in each session.
Coaching frameworks and tools I draw from include: GROW Coaching model, EXACT coaching model, Claire Pedrick's STOKERS coaching model, CLEAR coaching model, Kolb’s Learning Cycle, Action Learning, unconditional positive regard, presence and attunement, boundary-setting, radical candour, Kirsten Neff’s fierce compassion.
I am also influenced by my personal work in therapy across the last decade. I bring extensive personal experience of updating personal patterns of behaviour and persisting in renewing my relationship with myself and others. I bring a very strong commitment to ethical standards and rigorous coaching. You can find a list of my qualifications and ongoing professional development activities on my website.
Who is it for?
This type of coaching can be beneficial for people who are navigating any of the following: significant change to role or purpose, upcoming career change, settling into a new leadership role, improving interpersonal communication at work and others.
Previous Coaching Work:
Most recently I worked with headteachers in Scotland as an associate with Know You More, supporting them to set up strong systems of support for their wellbeing and that of their teams. These conversations revolved around senior leaders managing stress levels, navigating interpersonal conflict and team dynamics, setting and maintaining work-life boundaries.
Also recently, I’ve been coaching on OrgBuilders, an organisational development programme for social justice organisations. Here I’ve been supporting leaders and teams to navigate complex organisational shifts whilst responding to and challenging systemic oppression in their cultures and operational structures.
How to get in touch:
Please find more information on my website and get in touch on email (roxanabacian@gmail.com) to set up a 30min coaching trial (paid). I will aim to signpost you to other coaching colleagues if we don’t choose to work together.
I look forward to hearing from you. Please share this post with anyone in your circle who you think might benefit from this offer.
Thank you for reading as always.
